THE NURSING AND MIDWIFERY COUNCIL (NMC)
The Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) are the regulatory body for nurses and midwives in the UK. Their role is to protect the health and wellbeing of the public, set standards of education, training, conduct and performance for nursing and midwifery staff and ensure their skills and knowledge are kept up to date, and investigate any breach of standards.
